Accessibility Statement
We want everyone who visits the Meriden CE Primary School website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding, going above and beyond the The Public Sector Bodies Accessibility Regulations 2018.
What are we doing?
To help us make the Meriden CE Primary School website a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We’ve chosen Level AA as the target for the Meriden CE Primary School website.
How are we doing?
We're working hard to achieve our goal of Level AA accessibility, but we realise there are some areas that still need improving. The following information explains what we're doing to make that happen.
1.1.1: Non-text Content
Add in alt-text
1.4.12: Text Spacing
Review spacing of lettering and seek opportunities for user to be able to change this as appropriate.
2.1.1: Keyboard
Gain technical support in allowing this to happen.
2.1.2: No Keyboard Trap
Gain technical support in allowing this to happen.
2.1.4: Character Key Shortcuts
Gain technical support in allowing this to happen.
2.4.7: Focus Visible
Address in alt-text
